Helping You Stay Prepared
Workforce Development
Building Pathways From Incarceration To Income
Our Approach
We sit at the intersection of two systems that rarely talk to each other. Reentry organizations prepare people for work but often lack employer relationships. Staffing agencies have employer relationships but rarely work with people who have backgrounds. BPrep bridges that gap with a model built on years of real results.
BPrep Services is more than a staffing agency. We run a full workforce development program designed to prepare returning citizens not just for a job, but for long term financial stability. Getting someone hired is the first step. Helping them stay employed, build credit, and manage money is what actually changes a life.
What Our Workforce Development Program Covers
-
Resume Building: We help workers build a resume that reflects their strengths, even with employment gaps or limited work history, so they walk into every opportunity with something solid in hand.
-
Interview Preparation: We coach workers through real interview scenarios, including how to address their background honestly and confidently, so nerves and uncertainty don't cost them the job.
-
Employment Document Literacy: We walk workers through how to properly complete W-4s, I-9s, direct deposit forms, and other paperwork that trips up even experienced job seekers, especially after years away from the workforce
-
Financial Literacy & Planning: We teach basic budgeting, saving, and money management so that first paycheck turns into stability instead of disappearing within days.
-
Understanding Credit: We help workers understand how credit works, how to start rebuilding it, and how to avoid the predatory traps that often target people in exactly this situation.
-
Transportation Support: We provide transportation assistance to job sites when needed, removing one of the most common reasons placements fail in the first week.
-
WOTC Administration: We manage the Work Opportunity Tax Credit process for every eligible placement, making second chance hiring a smart financial decision for our employer partners.
Why This Matters
A job is the start of the story, not the end of it. Without financial literacy and practical life skills, even a good job can fall apart under old habits, bad debt, or simple unfamiliarity with the system. BPrep's workforce development program exists to make sure the second chance actually sticks.
BPrep was founded by someone with direct personal connection to incarceration and its impact on families. That proximity shapes everything about how we operate, from the trust we build with workers to the credibility we bring into every employer conversation. This is not a program we read about. It is a problem we have lived, and a solution we built ourselves.
